Crazy Rich Health: No Diets, No Fads, Easy, At Any Age by Charles Harwood is a lovely effort by the author to offer useful information, tips, and advice that will help us improve our general health.
The book contains the author’s personal story, and practical conclusions and results are presented that aim to aid us in accomplishing a more healthy lifestyle.
The style of the writing is not threading at all, this is one of the things I like about this book, you feel like you are having a conversation with the author.
The writer does not tell you or urges you or push you to eat or do anything. It presents his theories and his information and let you decide for yourself.
The author advocates that if you want to see a positive change into your life a healthier version of you, then you need to stay away from temporary diets and easy fads. I completely agree with this notion. If you want to see change, then you must adopt a lifestyle that will carry you to the end of your days and works for you.
Impressive views and theories are presented like Placebo and Nocebo, the importance of sun exposure and of course the super importance of exercising.
The diet(food wise) that the author proposes is not belonging to any particular category. I personally disagree with the use of animal products, and also I will disagree with the author about eggs being healthy. They are not I did extensive research on the matter and eggs being healthy for us is dangerous Myth. (Please see below for resources that prove my argument)
To his defend thought the author does advocate for consuming of whole plant-based foods and presents a beneficial catalog.
Charles Harwood wrote a fantastic book because it offers us the opportunity to rethink of what we eat and give us the chance to reevaluate our lifestyle and start acting in a way that we will become Crazy Rich Healthy.
